Description:

Lady shredders, come celebrate women’s month! Have you ever had a flat tire out on the trail? Avoid that dreadful walk with your bike back to the trailhead. Learn to fix your bike on the trail. We will show you how to fix flats (tubes and tubeless) trailside and what to carry for minor bike mechanics on the trail.

This is a 30 to 45 minute clinic with an all levels ladies ride afterwards. We will need a couple of volunteers to sweep for the ride. This is a social ride at party pace for fun and fellowship to celebrate women on MTBs. Let’s kick off the day with Yoga for Cyclist taught by our very own yoga certified Dai with DORBA. Come to everything or just come for the ride!

Not riding? Come for the yoga and hike after and enjoy the great outdoors. We’ve got DORBA merch sales at MADD Shelter - stop by to support the trails that you love to use!

Meet your instructor!

Chelle Tischler
I started cycling in 2008 on my first used mountain bike. The racing bug started in 2016 at a DORBA race at Rowlett Creek Preserve. I realized very quickly that I’d found my passion. In 2018 I attended Barnett Bicycle School in Colorado Springs to maintain my fleet, work in bike shops and teach bike maintenance. Later in 2018, I became a PMBIA Certified Instructor. I fell in love with teaching and giving back to the cycling community. I volunteer for DORBA trail work and at Bike Gangs of FTW to wrench on bikes. I’ve partnered with parks and rec departments, DORBA, FWMBA, IMBA, bike clubs and Spider Mountain to put on low-cost or free mountain biking skills and maintenance clinics. I’ve also become a personal mountain biking coach to those who have a desire for a deeper dive into XC and enduro racing. I love racing in multiple disciplines including enduro, downhill, gravel, cyclocross, road, XC and XC marathon. My list of titles includes 2nd in Amateur Women Southern Enduro Tour 2018, 1st USAC Texas State Marathon Championship 2019, 3rd Texas State Cyclocross Championship 2021, 3rd in Pan American Cyclocross Championship 2021, 3rd in USAC Texas State Cyclocross Championship 2021, 2nd USAC Texas State XC Championship 2022, 1st National XC Championship 2022 and 3rd Enduro National Championship 2022.
