We are hosting hikes at different DORBA trails on the first Sunday of the month.
This month, we will be highlighting Oak Cliff Nature Preserve (OCNP).
Start times will be earlier in the morning during the summer due to the Texas heat.
Depending on the availability of our fabulous Volunteer Coordinator, we will have yoga before our hikes.
Perfect opportunity to get to know our multi-use trails, learn proper etiquette, and get answers to any questions you may have about our trail system or organization while meeting some cool like-minded individuals and enjoying the outdoors.
- Casual pace
- Family-friendly
- Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash. You must be able to control them while on the trail and be mindful that you will be hiking against bike traffic and yielding to them.
- No headphones or loudspeakers; we are here to enjoy nature and fully immerse in the experience.
- Please wear comfortable shoes and bring proper hydration (for you and your four-legged companions), as we will be hiking 8 miles.
We will have refreshments back at the trailhead.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior.
We will start an introduction to DORBA and the landowner Texas Land Conservancy (TLC) at 10:00 A.M., followed by a quick Q&A.
Please be sure to fill out our online 2023 DORBA Waiver prior to arrival.
We recommend you download the Trailforks app for easy navigation.
