About this event

Are you an intermediate rider looking to improve your skills? Are you nervous about technical climbs? Do you struggle to find a good flow line in technical terrain? Are technical downhills making you grab a handful of brakes?

Join us for our Climbing and Descending Intermediate Clinic at Horseshoe in Grapevine.

32.96403345380175, -97.09410838818873

During the clinic, we will ride sections of the trail both in the correct direction and backward. It will be a fun but technical day in the saddle.

Please ensure you have your protective gear, nutrition, and hydration. We will provide light snacks and water for refills (BYO water bottles).

What to bring:

Please bring helmet, working bike, gear, pads (if you normally wear them) and water.

You'll need a mountain bike in good working order. No worries - the coach is a mechanic and all bikes have to pass safety checks required for this style of riding. Do not bring a commuter, BMX, or beach cruiser bike.

We'll cover the curriculum and tie it all together for a session group ride after.

Check-in/bike check: 30 minutes (please be ready to go at start time)
Drills: 2 hours
Group session ride: 1 hour
