About this event
Join us on June 14 to celebrate National Trails Day at Harry Moss Park, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of urban Dallas. The park features a popular trail system loved by hikers and mountain bikers alike. Because the park borders White Rock Creek, rain often washes litter into the area, posing a threat to local wildlife and the health of our watershed.
Join DORBA and Texas Conservation Alliance (TCA) for a community clean-up to help remove trash from the trails and keep it from reaching the creek. Your efforts will help protect water quality and preserve this urban green space for both people and wildlife!
Meeting Location: DORBA trailhead
Parking: A gravel parking lot shared with the soccer fields
What to wear:Closed-toed shoes are a must.
Please note: There are no bathrooms on site, but Calloways Garden Store has a nice facility with a water fountain as well.
