Description:
The trail at Cedar Hill State Park has 4 loops. The trail is twisty single track through Texas grass praire land over rolling terrain. The loops are 2.5 miles, 7 miles, 12 miles and 16 miles. The 16 mile loop was just open (2007). It is the old expert loop.
In the summer of 2004 a big storm dropped 15+ inches of rain in less then 24 hours. This storm caused extensive damage to the exsiting trail. Through the tireless effort of then trail steward Danny Bagget and a few key volunteers, they rebuilt the trail system.
