In the event the Dorba continues to crash I would request that people check out the Texas Forum at MTBR for updates.  If you are a steward, cannot update Dorba, and know that your trail should be open or closed then please feel free to update the thread at MTBR or email me so I can update the big list.

IM me or email for my cell number if that is more convenient.

This is that time of year where we may have limited trail time due to frequent rain storms.

I will try to keep updates current on MTBR.com in the Texas Forum

I was able to sneak in a ride before the rain yesterday. I couldn't believe all the mud still in lone wolf, mainly in the bamboo section. I don't even want to imagine how long its going to take for it too dry now. What causes though sections to stay wet for so long?

There is underground water that builds up and flows at places because of Sansom being on the side  of a hill like it is.This has taken as long as 4 months to drain out before.Dry weather does not help clear it up.

The entrance to the new extension to Lone Wolf is in the rt. hand turn @ bottom of DH section w/2 small kickers. After the rt hand turn, you cross the big drainage then start the climb up to Cahoba rd & on to 3-fer. You'll need to stop & ease thru the tree gate next to the rt hand turn. As it is now, you can do an out & back w/loop @ the end. As mentioned, it is not officially open, but feel free to check it out.

Enjoy!

Can anyone tell me where the trailhead and parking is located for the Cahoba trail. Or the entrances are.

The new trail section at the bottom of cahoba  is looking nice!

Yes it is! I've got about 4 laps on it. Adds some nice extra miles there at the end.

Good job!
