
Helmet and shirt or jersey must be worn at all times. No racer may make an abrupt motion so as to interfere with another racer. No pushing or pulling among racers. No audio devices allowed. Racers riding have the right of way over those pushing their bikes. Racers should yield at the first safe opportunity to racers from a class that started after them. It is the responsibility of the overtaking racer to pass safely. In the event two racers are vying for position, the leading racer does not have to yield his position to the challenger. However, a racer may not bodily interfere with the intent to impede another racer.The leading racer owns the track. All repairs will be performed by the racer. No outside support permitted. All spare parts shall be carried by the racer, to be used only by the racer. A racer can only use parts or tools that he or she started with at the beginning of the race. It is the racer's responsibility to know the designated course and he or she is required to stay on the trail that is marked or specified. Lack of tape or barriers is not an excuse for cutting the course. The singletrack is the race course unless otherwise marked. Racers must file protest of Foul Riding or other irregularities within 15 minutes of their finish. Race Results must be protested within 15 minutes of posting. No Whining! No Fighting! No Sandbagging! All other NORBA Rules are also in effect. Ignorance of the rules is not admitted as an excuse. |
