Love Boulder, but sadly that is the same date as the 24 Hours of Rocky Hill. Good that we have options though. Thanks!

Great choices, looking forward to it. Also....thanks for picking dates that don't conflict with TMBRA races which isn't always easy to do. It will be 8 straight weekends of races if you do both, but at least people have the option, which is great.

Yep Boulder would be fun but I am sure I will get dusty at Rocky Hill Ranch. Isn’t it great to have such difficult choices to make?!?

I don't know.....that guy Brawny looks pretty tough......plus both Spic, and Span will be there.

Any idea what the start times for the 3 Cats will be, or is it too early? 3's first?

Cool....I'll be setting up the IC3 tent and offering a "church" service/bible study during the Cat 3 and Cat 1 races for those that are not able to attend their normal Sunday services due to racing. Everyone is welcome to come hear me play the wrong chords and sing a couple of songs way off key (its a sing along!!). All 5 weeks of the series if it goes well, and the bible study will be called "Sermon on the Mount(ain bike)"

Registration is open on Bikereg.com and also appears to have all the info for the LBH race below the registration info.

https://www.bikereg.com/Net/lbh

It appears the Cat 3's will run at 7:00, 2's at 8:30 and 1's at 10:30.

I see one day licenses are available... are they available for all categories? Is there any criteria for walking up and getting a Cat 1 license? In the old days you could get an expert license without and USAC discussion... not so on the road though so checking if something changed in the past few years.

Thanks in advance. May seem like a silly question, but I won't end up racing enough this year to justify the annual license.

The only C1 class you could probably race would be the Singlespeed class as it is open. Usually you have to have 5 or more top 5's in C2 in order to move up.

Cat1 racers must have annual license. Cat 2/3 racers & both SS races can race with one-days.
out there.

Thanks for replies guys - sounds like they have gotten more formal unfortunately.

Can anyone walk up and get a Cat 2 one day license, or is there some "must have 5 top 5's in Cat 3" rule that applies there as well?

USAC says one day licenses are only for the lowest category, but for MTB it says that can be 3 OR 2... I read that to mean I can show up and race Cat 2...
