Tour De Dallas is a program designed by one of DORBA past
Activities Director to get local bikers to ride different trails that DORBA
has built in the DFW area. All of the trails have different characteristics
that make each one unique.
2002 was the first year Tour De Dallas was instituted. At
that time DORBA had twelve trails in the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
Twentythree riders completed Tour De Dallas that year.
Two riders (Gale Torbert and Jimmy Lambert) doing it in 24 hours.

2008 Requirements
The cost of registering for the Tour De Dallas is
$10.00.
Rewards for doing the tour:
- One of a kind t-shirt if you ride the minimum number of trails.

- Certificate once your ride all of the trails.
- Everything will be handed out at the January club meeting.
The trails are divided into three regions:
Requirements:
- Must be a DORBA member to qualify
- Must ride seven trails. Two in each region and a seventh of your choosing.
- Must ride the following trails:
Sister Grove,
Cedar Hill,
Oak Cliff Nature Perserve, and
Johnson Branch.
- Must complete all rides prior to November 30th 2008
- Time period for the 2008 Tour De Dallas is from
December 1st 2007 to November 30th 2008
Documentation:
- Have a witness or group ride leader sign off on the trail(s) you
rode (if doing it solo sign it yourself)
- Include dates of your rides
- Mail in completed form postmarked no later then
December 1st 2008
