The Agenda

Weather changes rapidly in Arkansas. One minute it's one of the most beautiful sunny day you've ever seen and 20 minutes later the downpour is so hard you're drenched getting to the cabin. The good news is that the trails don't seem to be to affected by the rain so if you can take it so can we. We strongly recommend using the 'buddy system' when riding any trail.

Beer:

This year we will have a beer tasting event. Check for details on the Clearfork forum and share your favorite barley pop.

The Docks at Camp Clearfork

Friday:

The organizers usually show up early but, the camp is not officially ours until 2:30 pm. If you get there first just hang loose cause you've been assigned a cabin and need to clear moves with the folks in charge. If you're camping use the perimeter of the open field but not by the backstop. Veterns of Clearfork usually ride across the street so if you're up for it snag one of them. Also, Don has been preparing a crawfish boil the last few years so if you into sucking heads check out the activity behind the dining hall. There is no charge but he only does one large sack so show up early.

Saturday:

7am-9am
Breakfast is served.

9am
Leave for first ride. It's usually the Womble but you never know.

12noon-1pm
Lunch is on your own. Check out the local fair or do your own on the grills behind the dining hall. You can use the kitchen if you want but you must clean up after yourself.

2pm
Leave for second ride. Charlton is the usual choice since it's across the street from the camp.

4pm
Let the games begin. Try your hand at the Huffy Toss, Log Pull, Hill Climb, Chainless Race, and Slow Race. Adults and kids can all participate !

6pm-8pm
Dinner is served. Now aren't you glad you don't have to cook, but you can always help.

8pm-10pm
Never can tell what we may have planned but now's a good time to relax and get to know the other folks who attended. Last year there was a campfire and marshmallows.

10pm
Quiet time! Get your rest for tomorrow. Bet you find muscles you didn't know you had in the morning.

Saturday morning at the Womble 298 Trail Head

Area behind the Clearfork dinning hall

Sunday:

7am-9pm
Breakfast is served. Let me guess---you're starved!

9am
Leave for ride. Sunday is not as structured as Saturday. People have developed into groups and veterns usually lead small groups to different trails at different times. One group usually does the second half of the Womble. Cedar Glade, Lake Ouachita Vista Trail and Little Blakely are other possible trails but are further from the camp and require an extended time away from camp. If you choose these trails take more water, snacks and money for lunch.

4pm
We never finish all the games in one evening so here's where we test you again.

6pm-8pm
Dinner is served.

8pm-10pm
Time to relive the weekend and show off those battle scars.

10pm
Quiet Time!

Monday:

We only guarantee coffee on Monday but generally we have plenty of cereal, milk, orange juice and eggs left over to feed hungry folks so we serve it up free of charge to anyone who shows up. When we eat depends on when the ladies get up so keep your eyes on the dining hall and offer help if you're starved.

Keep in mind that the organizers can't leave until the camp is cleaned and inspected by the ranger so if you want to ride please pack before you go.

Please sweep out your cabin before you leave, this is a great help !
