Dirty Dozen Mountain Bike Race
We have two races going on at the same time. A 12 hr & 6 hr mountain bike relay race where teams try to log as many laps as possible on a 7 to 8 mile course with only one team member riding at a time. OVER $10k IN PRIZES & AWARDS.

So, is that a 7/8ths mile course or 7-8 miles course?
Sorry. It is between 7 & 8 miles. There is a meadow section that we sometimes reroute depending on rain, and a switchback section we sometimes take out depending on course conditions.
Don't apologize! Who would want to run a 7/8 mile course. :)
Now to see if I can get some guys interested in doing the race.

I have done a pre-ride 2 1/2 times. (the 1/2 was at night, very cool). The first time I rode it was the day after an extended rain, to my surprise. Most of the trails were open and fine. The more technical sections were closed that day. When I came back a week later, everything was open and awesome. Hopefully everything will be included in the race - just have to pace yourself since there are lots of places to just go all out.
